Purchased Printer November 2025. Great machine with plenty of facilities. I need to use it more to be fully conversant. Some difficulty printing on glossy 250g/m as not feeding every time. Paper too thick? Quite slow on direct scan. But that could be me not up to speed.

The thing that amazes me about this printer is how it has one job - to print documents. It is old. Computers have been doing it for decades. Everytime I try to get this thing to print it connects then disconnects, updates or generally messes around. 90% if takes me 40 minutes to get it to print one round of documents. How they haven't got this right beggars belief. Save yourself some precious life - buy a better printer

I had this printer for about a week before the menus started locking up. I could not access the configuration menu to try to restore it to factory defaults. I phoned Brother Support and they said it is probably a faulty machine and advised me to return it to the supplier for replacement. A quick call to Printerbase and they are picking it up next week..,,,,it printed fine!
