Moins haut de gamme que la Pacer Pro, la Polar Pacer reste néanmoins très convaincante, d'autant plus pour un modèle à moins de 200 €. Nous avons apprécié son design tout en légèreté, ainsi que les améliorations sur les performances qui rendent l’expérience bien plus agréable que sur les autres smartwatches de la marque finlandaise. La Pacer fait aussi office de porte d’entrée idéale dans le monde des montres connectées cardio GPS. Si on déplore des fonctions utilitaires très pauvres, on apprécie en revanche les excellentes dispositions de cette tocante pour ce qui est du suivi sportif. Hormis les appareils Garmin, il sera difficile de trouver plus efficace que la Polar Pacer à ce niveau de prix.

The Polar Pacer is a running watch first and a good one, but it can do more, and it offers a lot of what you'll find on Polar's pricier watches for much less. If you can live without mapping and navigation features or some of the richer training insights and performance tests, then this is a solid little performer. There's still some elements in the design we don't absolutely love, but it offers good hardware and software for the money and is a good alternative to Garmin and Coros sports watches at this price.

The Polar Pacer refines Polar’s vision of a running watch to its purest form. It’s an excellent device that skimps on smartwatch features to hit an attractive price point.
