Canon RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3

My third lens purchase for my R50 with kit lens. It’s ideal for outdoor wide angle images, being sharp enough; very light and small; quick to focus and easy to adjust exposure via the control ring. I have used indoors, for some excellent shots, but you have to accommodate the dim maximum aperture with higher ISO, longer shutter speeds, a tripod or add some flash. The price is also a great advantage.

I use this lens when making up-close product photos and it works fine. Nice clear and clean images, excellent zoom range and useful for movies also. I wish it focused closer (like the Panasonic Lumix it replaced which was nearly a macro).

Works very well with my Canon R7, used for street and scenery.

A great little lens. Compact and lightweight without sacrificing quality.

Useful lens for travel / vacation, especially in locations with limited space (e.g., photographing building facades in tight surroundings.
