Makita DDF484ZJ (sans batterie)

Bought this drill and the chuck is malfunctioning after only a handful of uses.

usual dependable all rounder. Got a few of them. Lots of use, lots of abuse and typically last about 3 years

Ive been using Makita tools for 40 years, professionally and as a diy’er. I have finally managed to break a Makita tool, a drill driver, too much time on the hammer drill setting I think. So I have bought this drill driver and will get a corded hammer drill. Great tools, only let me down twice; the drill and an 18v battery that would not charge after >12 months use. Makita replaced it FOC. Can’t see past Makita or Screwfix for service.

Does what makita claims. Also nicely weighted. Makita tools are great I always use makita.

Used for Chimney Sweeping. It’s not got an easy life. Extremely reliable and performs every time. Robust to give that bit more when needed.
