After a lot of research I decided to get the RT-BE88U. It has by far the best connectivity I have ever seem in a home router, even better than some higher end models. You can have a 10G NAS attached and it will still leave High speed ports available for other devices.

Would have given it 5 stars but, I had to return the first one because it quit working after two weeks. The second one is working great.

I bought this router to stream to my steamdeck from my pc and my ps5, we are 2 streaming to our laptop from our pc/ps5 without lag with 1080p resolution. I tested my speed under the 2.5 gbps port and after a link test I have about 2.3Gbps as average speed! LDLC delivery impeccable as usual. Thank you, I recommend

Bought on Feb 16, '25. Online Feb 17 with Asus BE58 mesh and switch. 400mbps Spectrum tests at 480. Tough review to write. The router is beyond fantastic when working. After 9 days it quit finding internet. PC could communicate with router interface perfectly. 16 hours and four calls with ISP later, new modem here, but router still not finding internet. Called Asus, got great tech, lucky, but took an hour and forty minutes on phone in advanced settings and multiple reboots to get this back online. Product/firmware is not market ready, as much as I wish it was. A loyal fan of Asus products generally.
