HP 430 Full HD Webcam

I needed to replace the WebCam that was integrated into the monitor I was replacing. This unit matched the needed features and price point I was looking to replace. The integrated sliding cover was an extra plus. Works as expected, and I’m a long time satisfied customer of HP equipment.

Used this computer for 4 months for World of Warcraft on low settings and that made it overheat to the point where it won't even log in. I think the hard Drive is now smoked. I'm having my IT guy look at it next week to verify what broke / smoked. Not a bad computer if you DO NOT use it for gaming, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having 16 GB RAM and other gaming upgrades. The overall rating dropped significantly from when I bought it (about 4.5 stars) to now (3.0 stars) and everybody is saying the same thing and this laptop can't handle gaming that puts any load on the computer.Just a very bad overall design.

It is not very clear these are modified laptops. It is also not very clear who warrants them. But beyond that you get one heck of set up for a great price. Big screen, DVD, Bluetooth and it boots in about 30 seconds.. Very fast for all my needs. I do a moderate amount of Light Room and it goes so much faster than what I was using before. One more thing when I was checking out I could not find anywhere were I could purchase an extra warranty. Would have purchased one if I could. Lots of questions about what if this breaks but the product itself is 5 stars.

This did not last 2 wks. Immediately began giving error messages, reinstall messages, then just locked up. Before 2 wks was even up it totally went black and would not turn on. Worst thing I've ever bought. Decided to get a Dell Alienware and am more than satisfied.

Awesome! Love the large screen, runs completely quiet - don't even know it is on. Great no glare screen and I love the lighted keyboard. I have cable enabled Wi-Fi - runs like a charm. Battery life good. Very happy with purchase.
